Hey y'all!
Just to update everyone on the happenings of the UIAS, we had a meeting on Tuesday, August 29 that featured a slide show by professor Jim Kaler, an astronomy professor at the U of I. Discussions were made about the upcoming Astrofest, future UIAS activities, telescope training, t-shirts, and the newly formed Mars Society here at the U of I. If anybody would like to learn more about joining the club, send your e-mail to Huy, your web dude To check out Professor Kaler's webpage, which has fascinating information on our night sky, as well as other astronomy-related webpages, check out the UIAS links page. |
